School

The Greek School of Ireland was founded in 2003 and it is recognized as a “Class of Greek Language” (TEG) by the Ministry of Education.  It is based in the community hall of the Greek Orthodox Church of Annunciation in Dublin.   It is funded by the Parents supported by the Greek State and the Hellenic Community of Ireland.  The Teacher of the Greek School is sent here by the Greek Department of Education.

Classes and opening hours
The school’s teacher for the academic year 2012/ 2013 is Ms Myrto Tsaprazi and the School Committee representative Ms Maria Achtida.  The school operates from Monday to Saturday accommodating various classes with levels and ages.

On Wednesdays there is a “Greek Culture and History” Class. This is an open class for children of any age who would like to learn about the Greek culture and history.  All children of the Greek community and their Irish friends are welcome.

The School has also classes for Adults, on Mondays is the beginners class and on Thursdays is the advanced class.
