To: President, Hellenic Community of Ireland and Greek people living in Ireland
Dear Friends
My name is Vahe Paronyan, I am an Armenian living in Ireland,
This April 24 is the day we commemorate the 95th anniversary of Armenian Genocide.
One and a half million Armenians were martyred only because, like us, they were Armenians.
The Genocide was not organized only against Armenians. Other nations, like Greeks and Assyrians were Genocided by Ottoman Turkey.
On the 24th of April Armenian Community is planning a commemorative vigil which will be held in front of the Turkish Embassy at 11
Clyde Rd. Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 from 10am-1pm.
This vigil and similar commemorations around the globe will be a reminder to
the world that in spite of the Genocide, we are still here and we have not
forgotten.
We will also remind them that whether in our home countries or in the Diaspora,
we are indivisible as a nation and will struggle as one in pursuit of justice and restitution.
We would like to invite our Greek brothers and sisters to join us in front of the Turkish Embassy at
11 Clyde Rd. Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 from 10am-1pm to make our voice listenable in pursuit of justice.
Thanks and Regards
Vahe Paronyan
